Adriana Valdez Young is an urban design researcher and educator. She teaches at the Parsons School of Design and the Graduate Program for International Affairs at The New School. She holds a B.A. in History from Brown University and a M.A. in International Affairs from The New School. She is currently leading City as Lab: NYC BEIRUT – a collaborative urban design and research program between The New School and The American University of Beirut. She also blogs for IKEA. She lives and swims in New York City.
