Alexander Halavais is Associate Professor teaching interactive media at Quinnipiac University. He has been teaching for more than 25 years, playing with kindergarteners, mentoring doctoral students, and at every level in-between. His current research examines the role of analytics in social change, particularly in learning environments. He works with the Digital Media and Learning Hub, based at the University of California, and on a range of projects that engage learning outside of traditional educational institutions.
