David Parry is an Assistant Professor of Emerging Media and Communications at the University of Texas at Dallas. His work focuses on analyzing how literacy and knowledge change as we move from analog to digital structures, and more broadly the social changes that such a transformation brings about. He has published and presented on areas ranging from digital games to Wikipedia and microblogging. His work on Twitter has been featured in various media outlets including The Chronicle of Higher Education, NPR, and US News and World Report.
